ETa: Clearance Zone - Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

ETa: Clearance Zone ("the game") is made by Dave Reilly. This page explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. The short version: the game itself doesn't collect anything about you. Your progress is saved on your phone. The only data that leaves your phone goes to Google, for the optional video ads and for Google Play Games (sign-in and the high score leaderboard).

What stays on your phone

The game saves your progress and settings in a file on your device: your run in progress, coins and items, lives, best score, daily challenge and streak progress, which tips you've seen, and whether sound is on. This file is never sent to us or anyone else, and it's deleted if you uninstall the game. We don't have an account system, servers or analytics.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game offers optional rewarded video ads (for example "Watch ad" for extra coins or another try). Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and use information such as:

If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are personalised. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy button on the game's title screen.

Wherever you are, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads, depending on your phone).

Google Play Games

On Android the game uses Google Play Games Services for sign-in and a global high score leaderboard. When you're signed in, your scores are sent to Google and shown on the leaderboard under your Google Play Games profile name and picture. This is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; you can manage your Play Games profile and its visibility in the Google Play Games settings.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

We don't hold any personal data about you, so there's nothing for us to show, correct or delete. For data held by Google (ads and Play Games), use the controls described above or visit your Google Account. Depending on where you live (for example under the UK or EU GDPR), you may have further rights over data about you, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If the game starts using information in a new way, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
